Founded in Dallas, Texas 2018

Formed by musicians/entrepreneurs Eddy Dre and Aaron “A1” Burkholder, Rosegold Music is an independent imprint that was born out of a love for hip-hop and a commitment to community. The two musicians met in Dallas, Texas in June 2018. Shortly after that meeting, the two began recording music together (Eddy on the mic - Aaron behind the boards), and the rest fell into place.

Of the duo, Eddy Dre takes center stage on three album releases to date: Shot the Mirage (2019), Over Time (2021), and FLY IN COLORS (2024).

Many performances at open mic nights and local showcases in and around Dallas have allowed Eddy to grow as a musician, performer, and artist.

Behind the boards, Aaron continues to grow creatively within music production, audio engineering, photo and video editing. Aaron composes a sonic style that weaves tradition and automation together into each polished project that he releases as A1 Productions.
